  I just want to say that Brookdale is a good average assisted living, staff is friendly, easy to talk to. The food is about average. I would recommend Brookdale, being honest they just need to make some improvement. The environment is great once you become a part of the community, and get to know the residents and staff. The menu needs improvements, need more staff available, and rooms need to be more accessible for handicap residents. Overall the staff is great and it has been a good experience.

  We visit this facility once a month through our church’s outreach ministry, Koinonia Cares. The residents seem happy and cared for, and that’s extremely important. The staff are friendly towards us and accommodating. We love going there to help brighten their day.

  We love Brookdale! We moved my mom in April 2019. She was reluctant to go but she needed more help. After her first night she was joining in Bingo & Dominoes and making lots of friends. The staff are all wonderful and caring. We cannot day enough good things about Kim, Marti, and Sam. They have become a 2nd family.

  I visited several facilities prior to moving my aunt to Brookdale Mansfield. What made this place stand out was the staff. They took the time to get to know about my needs as well as my aunts needs prior to her arriving. They had a very caring and family center approach. As of last December my aunt relocated from the Virginia area where she lived for over 50 years independently straight to her new home here. I have to admit it was a little rocky transition from total independence (although her independence was very compromised by now) to living in an assisted environment. The staff was very patient and understanding. I have to say I'm thrilled as well as her that she is at Brookdale. With a lot of time and effort from the staff and management an awesome balance of independence and assisted care has been established for my aunt based on her abilities. This facility has creatively found this balance and my aunt simply loves her new home and has flourished in social relationships with other residence as well as maintaining her independence as an individual. Thanks Brookdale Mansfield for all you do!
