The difference has been night and day. Our three-year-old used to cry every morning at drop-off, but now he runs into school with a smile on his face. He absolutely loves his teachers, and honestly, so do we. They're warm, engaging, and genuinely invested in his growth and happiness. The management team is equally amazing—professional, communicative, and clearly passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment for all the kids. We feel completely at ease knowing our son is in such caring and capable hands. If you're looking for a place where your child will not only learn but thrive, we can’t recommend The Goddard School of League City highly enough.

The Goddard school in League City truly feels like a second home, where our children thrive and are genuinely loved. Our daughter attends the school age classroom and our son is currently in the 2yr old classroom. It is a relief to know that our children are in a safe and clean environment, where their well-being is a top priority. The safety protocols and overall cleanliness of the facility are exceptional. It was incredible to witness our daughter’s growth and development under the Goddard team's care. The teachers have created classrooms that are fun, engaging, and deeply educational. The staff interacts with the children with warmth, patience, and encouragement. They take the time to understand each child's needs and celebrate their strengths. They provide age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and encourage learning through play. When our daughter reached kindergarten, the Goddard program set her up to lead and be successful, and that success has carried through now for several academic years. We are excited to watch our son grow within the Goddard program. It is wonderful to have the trust and confidence to know he is well cared for each day. The Goddard school in League City truly is our families second home.

Cynthia and Jessica in the infant class are amazing, so nurturing and treat your babies as their own. Made the transition back to work after maternity leave so much easier. Alex and Cheryl in young toddlers are awesome also, they have such great energy to keep up with the newly walking age group. My baby thrived in there, I was amazed by her speech development and the things she learned while in there. Karleigh and Solimar are wonderful in the toddler class. They do really cute art and I’m amazed that my 2 year old sings her ABCs and can count past 10. Elva in the older toddler class is so loving and nurturing towards the kids. My older child entered this class when we switched and she scooped him up from day one and kept him engaged so he literally never cried at drop off. She essentially potty trained him also. She also teaches them some Spanish which is so valuable. Ashley in the bridge class is so sweet. They were all boys when my older child was in there. She kept them engaged and helped solidify the potty training skills. Feli and Eloisa in the preschool class are incredible. The class is immaculately structured and orderly but the kids are still treated with affection at the same time. The growth I saw in my son in this class was impressive. Ms. Mary is a float teacher and has been so loving to both our kids. Lastly, Brenda and Linda in the pre-k class are also wonderful. I’m impressed by the learning of letters and sight words and of the concepts they’re able to convey to this age group. I have no doubts my son will be more than prepared for grade school when the time comes. Goddard is the best choice!

I’d hate to leave anyone out, but everyone including Cynthia, Cheryl, Elva, Alex, Ashley, Shahana, Maria, Feli, Solimar, Karleigh, Ms. Love, Mabel, Mary, Michael, Brenda, Linda and Cindy have been key contributors to my boys lives! Ratna and Deena help foster a great environment for our kiddos!

There’s also a lot of ways for parents to get involved with little activities which I think is really special. Ms. Alex, Ms. Cheryl, and Ms. Mary are so kind and patient and truly come in daily with a sweet spirit to work with tiny tots.

Yes, The Goddard School® is an early learning institution that focuses on the social, emotional, physical and academic development of children from infancy to pre-k. Our highly trained and motivated faculty develop experiential lesson plans for all age groups that reflect the skills, abilities and interests of the children in each classroom.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
What types of qualifications do Goddard School teachers and caregivers have?
Our experienced Goddard School teachers meet all state and/or local regulations and have access to continuous training provided by their state and our own Goddard University. We train teachers on a regular basis in health and safety regulations, education standards and more.
Can any of the families in the School opt out of vaccinating their children?
In many states, children who are not vaccinated because of exemptions based on medical condition or sincerely held religious beliefs attend The Goddard Schools. If your child is not vaccinated, please contact the owner of The Goddard School to inquire as to whether exemptions may apply as not all exemptions are recognized in every state. To ensure the health and safety of everyone, if an outbreak occurs and a child has not been vaccinated, they will be asked to stay at home.
What supplies do I need to provide for my child?
Please provide any necessary personal care supplies for your little one, such as diapers, wipes, a change of clothing and naptime bedding. For infants, please supply a crib sheet. For toddlers and older children please bring a blanket and/or sleeping bag. Many of our locations also ask that you pack lunch for your child each day.
