She has a wonderful sense of independence and has really discovered her love of crafts with all the creative options available to her. She feels safe and knows she is not alone and someone is always there to check in with her through out the day or if she needs help. She has made lovely friends and enjoys her new social life with people her own age.

Not only did they take great care of her - but they also took great care of us - her family- as well. They are such sweet angels - every single one of them!! While there, she had a stroke and became less mobile and all the staff there has really stepped up to help. Maury and Nelson are always available and ready to assist. Ms D goes the extra mile as does Tera and Ms V and all the support staff. We know that we have chosen the right place for our loved one and we are very happy to have found this wonderful haven for our family.
- SSStephanie SwaffordDec 31, 20215.0Placed both parents in Brookdale in 2019 and when covid hit and they went on complete lockdown it was very difficult for parents and family. The staff stepped up and allowed for creative ways to visit our parents. Mother became extremely depressed and soon had to be placed under hospice care and again the staff allowed for creative ways for us to be with her without endangering the entire community. Nineteen months later (still dealing with covid) our dad was placed under hospice care and again the staff were wonderful. Can't thank them enough for taking care of my parents when we couldn't get to them because of covid. Hospice was great with my mom but not sure what happened when my dad needed them. Fortunately Brookdale staff stepped up again and cared for my dad during his final days. You can't find a more loving, caring bunch of people for your loved ones than Spring Shadows and you can be confident your loved one is safe and cared for when you are not around.
