- TKTia KirbyAug 11, 20255.0My mom lived at Brookdale Cypress Station for almost 3 years. She had advanced dementia, and was often defiant and combative. She was treated with kindness, respect and love. She was given as much independence as she could have and was genuinely cared for in those last years of her life. They took her on outings when she had good days and was in a community walking club. She did have a hospital stay while she lived there, and they kept in contact with me the whole time. There was always music playing and the staff had the best attitudes. It was so nice to know that she wasn’t in a toxic work environment. Watching the end of a loved one’s life is emotionally exhausting. Brookdale met me and my brother with compassion and sympathy each time we visited. I cannot recommend them enough.

I can’t say enough about the excellent care she received while living at Brookdale Cypress Station. Every member of the staff are caring, loving & treat the residents with the dignity they so richly deserve. Not only is the care that is provided exceptional but there are very positive interactions between staff & residents, fun games & special occasion events to keep the residents engaged. I highly recommend Brookdale Cypress Station to anyone who is seeking exceptional care for their loved one.
