    this place didn't have my dads grave ready as we are driving up, made an entire prescession wait for their incompetence. on top of that, my dads name isn't correct on the vault. so thank yall for that

    The attendants at Rose Hill Memorial Park were always able and willing to answer me questions in a timely manner. I hope I don't have any friends or family that need to plan a service in the near future, but if I do I would recommend Rose Hill Memorial Park to them.

What do I do when a death occurs?

Our cemetery will help coordinate arrangements with the funeral home. Make a list of immediate family, close friends and employer or business colleagues. Notify each by phone. Gather obituary information you want to include such as age, place of birth, cause of death, occupation, college degrees, memberships held, military service , outstanding work, list of survivors in immediate family. Include time and place of services. The funeral home or cemetery will normally write article and submit to newspapers (newspaper will accept picture and they will be returned intact). Arrange for members of family or close friends to take turns answering door or phone, keeping careful record of calls. If Social Security checks are automatic deposit, notify the bank of the death.
