Brookedale made the move in an easy process. The entire staff is wonderful and very kind to my dad. He likes his neighbors and the occasional visit from someone’s dog. So far so good. We are very pleased with everything.

Such a beautiful facility, they genuinely care for you and your loved ones. The managers there are caring and willing to get out of their comfort to support residents. The staff are very helpful and will provide you with best care. The food their is out of this world, it's a high quality food. I highly recommend Lohman's Crossing.

Brookdale Lohmann’s Crossing is a wonderful, quaint little assisted living in the Lakeway community. The building and property are well kept, and charming. The team at Brookdale is absolutely the best! Patty is so knowledgeable and compassionate. Christa is absolutely a ray of sunshine, and Fadi makes the most delicious meals! Your loved one will be in great hands at this wonderful community.

My 91-year-old mother lived in assisted living at Brookdale Lohmans Crossing at 1604 Lohmans Crossing Rd Austin, TX 78734 for 3 years. In that time, Brookdale had seven (7) different directors. There were many other staff changes on top of that, but I think the director is the most relevant inconsistency. In addition, you cannot ever find staff after hours or on weekends and no one answers the phone. My mother had water leaking all over her bathroom floor one evening. To get help she took her walker and walked the entire building trying to find someone to help. When she couldn't find anyone, she called me. I called the main line. There was no answer. I then sent an email to the director and called the director. I told my mother to push her help button and still no one came. The lack of response to the alarm, may be the most alarming fact. I finally tried to contact the interim director again and said I didn't know what to do besides call 911. She then went to the facility and told my mother they would fix it the next week. Ten days later when I moved my mother out of Brookdale Lohmans Crossing, her toilet was still leaking and there were big commercial mops propped in her bathroom. If you work with an elderly person, you know they don't need to navigate water and mops to go the bathroom. Over the 3 years she lived there some of the problems we had include the following: 1.) when they were giving her medication, they tried to give her blood pressure medicine twice in the same day. I filed a complaint with the department of health and human services. 2.) she fell, hit her head and ended up with a bruise on her forehead. The fall was not their fault, but no one called me or any family member about the fall. Luckily I visited her a couple of times a week. 3.) There was another incident when the public restroom was flooded. That room was also open to residents and someone could have fallen. No one working at the facility knew about the leak. I am giving them two stars only because there were some kind people working there. However, those staff members could not do everything. We thought were doing helping my mother with Brookdale. We weren't and I cannot recommend this facility or this company.

The food here is delicious, gourmet style! Our staff is the best out of any place. We all love Hector, he is like a best friend. Our activity leader is great at the Big Band Bash, she is a delight. And I like the B-fit group. They all take care of me here.
