At The Goddard School located in Knoxville (Hardin Valley), we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
This is hands-down the best school! The teachers are so kind and skilled—my oldest graduated pre-K reading and doing multiplication! The curriculum is consistent and engaging, and the leadership genuinely listens to parents. My two boys are thriving, and every afternoon I find their classrooms calm and joyful. No other daycare we’ve tried even comes close!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with this Goddard HV. From the very first day, the teachers and staff have been so welcoming, patient, and genuinely caring toward my son. It’s clear they truly love what they do — they treat each child as an individual, with so much kindness and attention.
He has blossomed since starting here — he is learning new words, making friends, and gaining so much confidence. What really stands out is how much love and care they put into everything, from the thoughtfully planned activities to the way they comfort the kids when they’re having a tough moment. Each staff member not only knows my son but knows my whole family by name.

Early childhood training center with excellent staffs, caring teachers, good locations. The teachers really care about the children and their well-beings, they keep them busy with many different activities as well interacting with others and among themselves, improving their social interacting and integration skills etc. They also have different math/science skill development programs adopted for early age children including overall mental development. The price is also reasonable given the overall market situation and other options nearby. In summary we're very happy with our experience there.

The teachers and staff really care about the children and are prompt at responding to questions or concerns. There are so many activities and things the kids do each day that my child really enjoys. My child has had a hard time adjusting to daycare in the past, but it went really smoothly with this transition to Goddard. It is so nice to see our child excited to go to in the mornings now.

In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
