  I wish there was an option for ZERO STARS. If you care at all about your loved ones and they are not well enough to demand proper care or fend for themselves, DO NOT send them here. Just last week, my great aunt (a resident of Brookdale) fell in her room and was rushed to the ER. The doctors were horrified at the physical decline she had suffered at the hands of this facility and begged us to never go back. For starters, the staff neglected to encourage any physical activity, and I don’t mean exercise. I mean movement of any kind. My aunt had lost most of her mobility, while remaining completely unaware of this fact. She then attempted to walk when she could not, and, without supervision, fell resulting in injury. The doctors were also astonished by the severe and longstanding UTI she had been suffering due to neglect. When asked for an explanation the Brookdale staff stated they were unable to get a urine analysis (or had never tried...how hard is it to collect urine from an immobile full-time resident??). This is a very simple, preventative measure they claimed to have been doing when necessary. As if the health issues were not enough, her sister witnessed several other atrocities when she went to collect my great aunt’s things. For example, the gifts and care packages that had been left by family members over the past several months had just been brought in, and remained unopened. My great aunt had not believed her sister that it was her birthday on her actual birthday, because she had apparently not received most of the cards, which would have indicated that the date was near. My great aunt had nothing of monetary value stolen during her time there. They did, however, steal several years of health and happiness, and it will be long into rehab before my great aunt gains even a semblance of who she once was. My family will not sue, because we are not those people, but I need prospective residents and their families to know what a wretched facility this is. In the name of safety and well-being, I intend to expose Brookdale for the prison it is. No one should have to suffer such neglect and apathy, and their 4+ star rating disgusts me. Please do not send your loved ones here, and help me spread the word to keep others safe.

  Brookdale Rock Springs Assisted Living is where you want to call home. A warm inviting community with great care from Joanna Lane the health and wellness director and the care staff. Residents have plenty to look forward to with many activities to take part in. Brookdale Rock Springs is the best! Come out and see why we are the best Assisted living in the Tri cities.

  Brookedale Rock Springs is wonderful. The manager, Sandra Spears, is always helpful and available. You couldn't ask for a better place!

  Such a beautiful facility with a staff that truly cares for their residents. I am always impressed with the creative ideas they come up with to meet the needs of the residents and the community. I highly recommend Brookdale Rock Springs.
