We could not be happier with the Goddard School! From the moment we walked in, we have felt like family. The staff truly loves and cares for every child as if they were their own. Our children have not only been safe and happy every single day, but they have also grown so much socially and academically.
Thanks to the teachers’ dedication, our oldest was more than ready for kindergarten — confident, curious, excited to learn, and excelling academically. We are so grateful for the communication, the hugs, and the encouragement this center has given us as parents. We have considered ourselves lucky to have Goddard be such an integral part of our lives and are looking forward to many more years to come as we are expecting #3!

We’ve been with Goddard for 7 yrs and moved to the new location when it opened. The new location (Indian Lake) is immaculate with really great learning tools. Dave and Kara are almost always on site and have a relationship with each family. Mrs Katie is also top notch in caring about each family that walks in the door.

We’ve been at Goddard for many years at another location run by Dave and Kara. So lucky this location opened up so they had room for our daycare age children to get a spot. Very well run daycare/preschool. Our oldest was a graduate and was well prepared for Kindergarten.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
