At The Goddard School located in Hendersonville, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
The Goddard School of Hendersonville has been the best representation of early childhood education we could hope for! My son loves every member of the staff he has interacted with, and all the kids he’s made friends with. Communication between the school and parents is seamless; always ensuring we’re up to date on everything in regards to the program, our kids, or events that may be happening. Special shout out to Ms. Nicholle- this was our first experience with childcare outside of family and she made my little one feel welcome and truly cared for in his transition. We feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have found a place as amazing as this!

We love the Goddard school!!! Shout out to Miss Amy and all the other wonderful teachers in Infant 1. They are INCREDIBLE. Hands down the best infant room in Nashville. We commute from East Nashville because we truly feel like this is the best daycare for our son.
We previously started our 4 month old at a different daycare in Nashville that was supposed to be one of the best in the city and had a horrible experience. I had already wished I could be a stay at home mom, so it broke my heart to not only take him to daycare, but to a daycare where he wasn’t getting properly attended to.
But that all changed when we enrolled him at the Goddard school. First day I picked him up from Goddard I could tell he was thriving. I no longer worry about him when I am at work because I know he is getting the best care. He truly is so happy there. So thankful to have found Miss Amy and all the other amazing teachers at the Goddard School in Hendersonville!!!

We LOVED Goddard. Norah went here almost a year and she came home everyday telling us how much she enjoyed going to daycare everyday and how much she loved her teachers. Her speech has gotten so much better and she is sooo ready for Kindergarten. Thank you SO much to everyone at Goddard for taking extraordinary care of her.

Goddard of Hendersonville is such a wonderful asset to our community. The on-site owners, Kara and David, are fantastic and know my family by name. My son thinks Ms. Katie in the office is his best friend. My daughter was more than prepared for Kindergarten and they are currently ensuring my son will be prepared as well. They do a fantastic job of balancing academics with play which is essential while children are young. Each staff member treats our family with respect. I have never doubted my children’s safety or well-being. We are so lucky to have Goddard be part of our family’s “village!”

Both our children have loved their experience at Goddard. They enjoy going to school, and have had wonderful relationships with teachers and staff. The communication with parents is great. We’re always made aware of what is happening at the school and any staffing changes. We’re very happy with our decision to choose Goddard for childcare.

In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
