Also, the current director of activities has planned events that she loves. It is great that she looks forward to things that are coming up. It’s comforting to know she is happy in her community

- WCwanda chandlerFeb 25, 20234.0update: In general, it seems like the director is responsive to our concerns. There have been ups and downs. After speaking with the director, things got better for a time, then we were back down to 1 person again with an uptick in residents. It seems they have addressed the problem a second time and there were more caregivers the last few times I visited. I will continue to monitor. Mom moved in early fall of 2022. Everything seemed great. There were usually 2-3 people caring for 18 residents with dementia. Things have changed since the new year. Raised price $12k/year. At times there is only 1 person to care for all of the residents. Huge staff turnover in Clare Bridge. We are concerned. I have spoken with the director of Brookdale Dogwood about these matters.
