At just 2 years and 4 months old, our child can already count and recognize numbers up to 14 and knows all 26 letters of the alphabet. At home, there is even pretend “teacher time,” pointing at letters and quizzing us, and saying “Great job!” when we answer correctly. It is adorable and such a clear reflection of the classroom experience. We really see the teachers’ influence every single day. We feel completely confident that our child is safe, happy, learning, and growing in such a warm and loving environment.

Now that she’s in TK (Transitional Kindergarten in California) in grade school, we can truly see how much of an impact her early years there had. She is thriving, confident, and academically ahead of her peers. Her skills with letters has put her ahead and she is now participating in a reading group with schoolmates that are in Kindergarten and 1st grade! Keep in mind, she is only 4 years old! The teachers are patient, nurturing, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. They made learning fun and engaging while helping her develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills that prepared her so well for TK and beyond. It’s clear that the care and attention she received there built a strong foundation for her love of learning. We highly recommend Goddard to any parent looking for a safe, loving, and enriching environment for their child.

Our family is such a big fan of The Goddard School that our 11-month-old daughter will be starting there at the top of the year! The atmosphere is amazing the daycare is spacious and very clean. They have a rock climbing activity room for the kids and also a playground with turf instead of messy grass. My daughter has never come home dirty or all scratched up. I’m thankful to have a reliable and safe environment for my daughter to learn and be cared for while I work. Oh and they also have an app where you’re able to see what your child is doing throughout the day. The daycare has one of the best security systems I’ve ever seen you don’t have to worry about the what ifs because they have secured entry doors to protect your children. Go check them out I promise you won’t be disappointed the aesthetic alone will win you over. This is top tier and I would say this is luxury for babies so I rate them as 5 star trust me I have toured over a dozen daycares and this place was for sure the top of my list they had everything I was looking for. I drive from Oakland TN every day because I love this daycare and so does my daughter she’s always so excited to go to daycare.

Yes, The Goddard School® is an early learning institution that focuses on the social, emotional, physical and academic development of children from infancy to pre-k. Our highly trained and motivated faculty develop experiential lesson plans for all age groups that reflect the skills, abilities and interests of the children in each classroom.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
What types of qualifications do Goddard School teachers and caregivers have?
Our experienced Goddard School teachers meet all state and/or local regulations and have access to continuous training provided by their state and our own Goddard University. We train teachers on a regular basis in health and safety regulations, education standards and more.
Can any of the families in the School opt out of vaccinating their children?
In many states, children who are not vaccinated because of exemptions based on medical condition or sincerely held religious beliefs attend The Goddard Schools. If your child is not vaccinated, please contact the owner of The Goddard School to inquire as to whether exemptions may apply as not all exemptions are recognized in every state. To ensure the health and safety of everyone, if an outbreak occurs and a child has not been vaccinated, they will be asked to stay at home.
What supplies do I need to provide for my child?
Please provide any necessary personal care supplies for your little one, such as diapers, wipes, a change of clothing and naptime bedding. For infants, please supply a crib sheet. For toddlers and older children please bring a blanket and/or sleeping bag. Many of our locations also ask that you pack lunch for your child each day.
