At The Goddard School located in Summerville, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
My son regularly looks forward to going to school. His enthusiasm for his friends, teachers, and school activities - social/physical (e.g., Stretch-n-Grow Tuesdays; Music Man Thursdays; Soccer Shots) and academic (Show-n-Tell), gives me great satisfaction. I am also pleased with the cleanliness and upkeep of the school.

Highly recommend Goddard! Our daughter is thriving there. The mix of play, sensory, art and music to encourage learning is wonderful. The facility is clean and teachers/staff are all fantastic. You can tell how much everyone cares for your child. We appreciate the steps taken to keep everyone safe, happy and healthy. It’s the little things from inviting front lobby with music, the secure door into the school, fish tank, higher end playground/gym and decorations/themes for each classroom that make also make Goddard so special to us. Lastly what sealed our decision to have our daughter attend Goddard was the communication between staff/teachers to the parents. With the app we have a peek into the daily happenings inside the classroom and being able to communicate through the app is wonderful.

My son has been attending Goddard of Summerville since the first week they opened and over the course of the last year and 3 months, I have seen him flourish. The teachers of the Foxes class helped him with potty training practices that actually worked. They were encouraging and supportive. He quickly advanced to the Sharks and Gators classroom, where he is today, and has learned the alphabet, numbers, days of the week, and countless advanced subjects within a structured classroom setting. The Goddard School takes pride in making learning innovative and enjoyable for kids to include art projects, science experiments, tracing, paint by numbers, show and tell, and themed weeks targeted at learning our country’s many states, letters of the alphabet, eco system, food chain, weather, and more. Goddard brings in outside resources to help the kids learn topics that would otherwise not be exciting to learn from reading books in the classroom. My son’s favorite have been weekly visits from Soccer Shots and Music Man, as well as, the local fire department visit where they get to learn about fire safety and tour a firetruck. Goddard also shows appreciation to parents by providing a monthly coffee truck and fun games to play to win free items or discounted tuition.
There’s so much to love about Goddard of Summerville. Their standards for excellence show in every way and I’m proud in knowing my son is getting a quality education, while being cared for in a safe environment.

I can't say enough good things about this school and its staff. They go above and beyond to really pour into their students and learn each child and their family on a personal level. In only a few months they became more than our child's educators - they became family. I have never seen such consistency across teachers to so passionately dedicate themselves to making each child successful and incorporate every family in that success. If there were six stars, I'd give that!
