- BSBob SmithApr 19, 20252.0My wife and I are in town for the Easter weekend, and we went to the Good Friday service based on reviews and that it is supposedly a non-denominational church. The worship, scripture readings, and communion were all good. They showed a clip of the crucifixion from the Son of God, which was fine. Then they had a skit of satan coming onto the stage with red fiery visuals and a very scary voice (several children were visibly sacred by this skit), and he proceeded to gloat on his victory of killing Jesus, and trying to scare everyone into becoming a believer. It was 10 minutes of satan. Then the pastor came up and gave a short message about Friday is not the end of the story and Sunday is coming and gave a pseudo altar call. It seems this non-denominational church has VERY Baptist roots.
