At The Goddard School located in Lake Wylie, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
Our family loves Goddard school, I love the educational and developmental approach they take, and my kiddo loves the teachers and the activities he gets to do. I am always surprised by the things he picks up at school and brings home, it's amazing to see his progress.

Our youngest son went to the Goddard School in Lake Wylie for a little over a year. We chose Goddard because of several factors. The experience of the staff number one and their love of children. The staff members we came across we LOVED on a Personal level and exchanged contact info when we left for CSD preK because we genuinely miss them. Our son would run and hug them and we could tell he was attached to them.
The management was professional and addressed all our questions and concerns promptly. Our son got a lot of help with speech and socialization while there and we are so grateful. You get what you pay for and I would 100% do it again because of the level of care. Also extremely well kept and clean which was very* important to me. Highly Recommend.

It deeply saddens me to leave this review because the teachers here are fantastic but management ruins this facility. On March 10th, my daughter was taken away in an ambulance after having a febrile seizure due to a fever of 103.6 that was unnoticed at their facility. Upon arriving to the facility after being notified 911 was being called, my daughter was being held by management unconscious. We provided a written prescription approximentaley a week after our daughter returned to give her Tylenol and Motrin in the event of a fever. There was never discussion of our child being a risk to their facility during this time. At one point, our child had a fever and was treated based on her physician’s request. However, now, 2 months after the febrile seizure and after a treatment of a fever following the doctors request we were provided with a Waiver of Liability paperwork. We informed management we did not agree and we all agreed for us to point out what we were uncomfortable with and it would be revised. However, this was not done and we were informed at 7:02PM prior to another day that we should “part ways.” Management’s reasoning is because our child is a “risk” to their facility. However, our child has not been a “risk” for 2 months and was not a “risk” when they medicated her based on medical documentation. Our child became a “risk” to management after a disagreement in paperwork. Due to this, our enrollment was terminated. So. For this I give this facility a 1 star and it really saddens me as teachers are so kind. However, this facility is unreliable as after your child has a tragic incident at their facility, paperwork will randomly come months later forcing signature or termination.

In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
