A Truly Amazing School — Our Village!
The Goddard School of Doby’s Bridge in Fort Mill has been nothing short of incredible for our family. Our 4.5-month-old son, Xander, absolutely loves it here — he’s always smiling when we drop him off and just as happy when we pick him up.
From the moment we enrolled, we knew we found something special. The administration, especially Ashley, runs the school with so much care, professionalism, and warmth. And the teachers — Miss Rebeca, Miss Kansas, Miss Karen, and Miss Emily — are truly phenomenal. They treat Xander like their own, helping him crush his milestones ahead of schedule while surrounding him with love and encouragement every single day.
This school truly feels like our village. The environment is always spotless, safe, and nurturing — everything you’d hope for as a parent. We’re so grateful for the entire team at Goddard Doby’s Bridge and couldn’t recommend them more highly to any parents looking for a place where their child will thrive, learn, and be genuinely cared for. It's reasonably priced, you are paying for quality.

It has been a great experience working with the owners and of course the staff is so helpful and understanding. Especially when we leave our loved ones for a full day it’s always stress free knowing our kids are in good hands

WE LOVE GODDARD! Okay, overall I am a bit biased on The Goddard School. Many years ago I served a Goddard School in Connecticut as the 'Get Set' Teacher for 2 years. Knowing the programs and philosophy of Goddard, I was very happy to find out that one was being built around the corner from my neighborhood and opening while I was pregnant with my first baby. I knew instantly that it was all meant to be. I'm sure the teachers and staff may have felt added pressure knowing that I was all too familiar with Goddard overall. I have been more and more impressed with this school every single day and love seeing my baby girl thrive in so many ways. Everyone I've encountered truly care about my baby and our family. The owners have been amazing especially during this pandemic and with a first time Mom like me. We adore Cameron's teachers - Ms. Jay & Ms. Stephanie. Their classroom is wicked fun and engaging. Communication is key of course, and with this - they have exceeded my expectations. We can't wait to see what is to come for Cameron as she embarks on her Goddard journey :)

We have been so happy with our decision to send our son to the Goddard School. He started in the infant room 3 months ago and has learned and grown so much during that time. He is 8 months now and has reached so many milestones early and a lot of that has to do with what he has learned at the Goddard School. They make sure he is having fun and learning every day, which were both really important to us. His teachers have been so great and getting pictures of him smiling and having fun throughout the day really helps. You can tell the teachers and administrators really care about each child and that is what every parent wants for their child. I absolutely recommend the Goddard School.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
