  It’s saddens my heart to see this review #DougWolf as this facility prides itself on open communication with our families. I do wonder if you have the correct facility, as we have looked thoroughly and cannot locate a couple that has left our community due to being dissatisfied within the last 5 years. It would be unusual for us to not recognize your name & staff has no recollection of you either. We have also looked up your name in hopes we could reach out and cannot locate you in our database. Our team here works very hard at providing great care to our residents & support to their families. Leaving bad reviews has an impact, so I ask if you could please reach out to our community in order to ease your mind/discuss what you feel occurred.

  Took my kids to a reading with seniors program kids had a great time, looking forward to their Halloween event.

  The facility is beautifully updated and maintained. The staff we have worked with since our parents moved in 6 weeks ago have been helpful and kind.

  Our 94 year old mother Marian had a heart attack last week. She spent a very difficult week in the hospital. We were frantic to find help for her as her doctors said she needed 24/7 care upon discharge, including physical therapy because she was so weak. For over 20 years she would say, "When the time comes, I want to go where my mother was." Her mother, our grandmother, Mary Lewis, was the very first resident of Grayson view, Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania 20 years ago when the facility was brand new. I called Brookdale Grayson View at 9:10 this past Wednesday and by 11:15 am that very same morning Margaret and Stephanie were in my mother's hospital room evaluating her for possible acceptance. By 5 pm our prayers were answered when Stephanie called with the good news that we could take our mother to the Selinsgrove Grayson View. Within 24 hours our family felt peach and reassurance as we signed the final documents with Annette and my mother was welcomed into her room by Chrissie who had already started to place furniture and belongings. It was already starting to look like home. Stephanie provided lunch to us after our rigorous travel and paperwork. Stephanie and Annette were careful to answer our questions and patiently explained everything. Our mother was in the hands of caring staff. Chrissie even hung up pictures and set up our mother's TV. Our mother, a retired registered nurse, was assigned to dine at a table with another retired nurse. How thoughtful. My Aunt Nan is also at Grayson View so it is our new "family place. " The facility is clean, tidy, and maintains a schedule around the needs of the residents. Brookdale Grayson View in Selinsgrove, PA, is where my mother wants to be and the staff made it happen. I have called several times already just to check on my mother's adjustment. My calls were promptly answered and I felt like a priority along with the well being of my mother. We are beyond happy that everyone, including the nurses Jennifer and McKenzie we have already met, that they treat our mother with dignity and cheer. Grayson View is not only a blessing to our mother but to our entire family. We recommend Brookdale Grayson View as our very top choice. After all, it has now served two generations of our family. Some day Grayson View is also where I will want to go.
