At The Goddard School located in Schwenksville, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
My child has been attending preschool for the past six months, and it truly feels like the best decision I’ve ever made. The teachers and staff are incredibly supportive and friendly, creating a welcoming environment where my daughter feels happy and engaged. She enjoys her time there while learning new skills, and I’m grateful to see her growing both academically and socially.

I can’t say enough about the staff. Walking in, the directors say hi, not only to my son who attends Goddard, but my daughter who does not. They know her name and she knows theirs!
This morning, my son’s preschool teacher said “I should just make her a cubby” she was referring to my daughter. My son’s classmates all know her name and play with her every morning at drop off. My daughter feels special and that means the world to me.
Miss Amy lives across the street from my son’s baseball field and even attended a game! You know your kid loves school when he’s super excited to see his teacher outside of school! Not only my son but two other kids have previously been in her classroom and were ecstatic to see her.
We love our teachers and directors💙🩷

My youngest son goes here & let me tell you: best decision I have ever made! He is so excited to go to school & he has a connection with both his teachers. He has to wear an eye patch to strengthen his weak eye. He was very nervous to wear it in front of his friends but both Ms. Kylie & Ms. Jennifer hyped it up! He comes home every day telling me what exciting things he did that day. Goddard of Schwenksville is my #1 recommendation to any family looking for childcare!

We cannot say enough good things about this daycare. It has made a huge difference in our daughter’s life. She is on the spectrum, and finding a place that not only accepts her but understands and supports her has been life changing for our family.
From day one, the staff took the time to read her IEP and actually used it, something that is sadly not as common as it should be. Within just the first couple of weeks, we saw real progress in her communication and social skills. She was thriving in ways we had not seen before.
This is now our second summer attending their camp program, and every single teacher continues to be incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. The communication with parents is excellent and we are always kept in the loop on her care and development. Most importantly, our daughter loves going every day. She comes home happy, engaged, and excited to tell us about her day. The Goddard School of Schwenksville is a special place, and we are so grateful to have found it!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
