At The Goddard School located in North Huntingdon, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
We have been taking our kids to the Goddard School in North Huntington for over 6 years. My son graduated to Kindergarten, however my 4 year old daughter still attends. The amount of time, patience, & love the teachers & admin give to the kids is beyond impressive. You truly feel like you’re part of a bigger system that is focused on your child & their growth. I wouldn’t trade a single day of learning, exploring & growing at Goddard. 💙

We absolutely love North Huntingdon Goddard. The staff is incredibly warm, caring, and truly dedicated to the children. Our kids are thriving with the education and enrichment they receive every day. Any questions or needs we have are always met with quick, thoughtful responses from both the teachers and the office. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our children are in such a supportive, nurturing environment.

We started my daughter in their Neighborhood classroom after having her at home for 3.5 years (utilizing in-home childcare rather than daycare) - Goddard made the transition for her as easy as possible and were so caring and compassionate whenever she struggled her first few days. The teachers are excellent and do a great job managing 20 3 year olds.
The front office staff, Lindsey and Christy, are especially shining stars. They have answered numerous paragraph-long questions from me and have given detailed, yet immediate, responses. They are so helpful and always happy to assist with smiles on their faces. I feel that these two (and Ms Carol, the owner, as well) really go above and beyond to make Goddard run smoothly and make parents feel in-the-know.

This is our second year at Goddard and we love it. All of the teachers and aides are amazing, and our son is always excited to go to school in the morning. I’ve heard so many people comment on how expensive the tuition is, but I can genuinely say that it’s worth every penny. Our son will be starting kindergarten next year and I no longer have any concerns about him being ready.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.

To ensure the health and safety of everyone, if an outbreak occurs and a child has not been vaccinated, they will be asked to stay at home.
