We have had the absolute best experience so far at The Goddard School of USC! Mr. Taran and Ms. Meredith are incredible teachers in the First Steps classroom. They have so much love for my child and are so creative with crafts and engagement. I love the communication I receive throughout the day with pictures, and the daily/weekly communication outlining the curriculum and activities they engage in. I have seen developmental leaps in my child from the time she’s started - including walking, talking more, engaging socially, and her overall schedule. Tyler and all of the Directors are amazing!

This is a wonderful school for young children, from as early as 1 day old through Pre-K. The staff is incredibly supportive and creates a warm, family-like atmosphere. Their curriculum and activities are thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity and foster a love of learning in young minds.
The tuition is very reasonable and accessible for most families. Their hours: Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM, are ideal for working parents, allowing for a healthy balance between work and family life.
The facilities are always clean and well-maintained. The teachers are top-notch professionals who follow strict adherence to both state and federal standards.
I’m incredibly happy that my son has been attending since he was just 5 months old. Now, he’s almost 5 years old, and the growth we’ve seen has been amazing!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
