  Brian Leffler was a true professional who helped our Family navigate through a very difficult time. He provided comfort and calmness during a very stressful time. His expertise in guiding us through the process was instrumental in remembering our loved one in a truly dignified and respectful manner. I would strongly recommend Brian and his staff to provide funeral and cremation services without any reservations. They are simply the best. Thank you to Brian and his great team for all of their kindness and professionalism.

  I never thought that I would leave a review like this, but I felt it necessary to inform others about the excellent quality of care that our family received from Mr. Brian Leffler, owner of Kniffen, O’Malley, Leffler funeral home. He was the funeral director who helped us through probably the most difficult time in my life, the death of my sweet mom. This all began a few years back when he first sat down with my parents to plan for their funerals. My sister and I were there as well. Brian was very understanding helping my parents plan for their final wishes. They did not want their children to have to make all of those decisions in what is the most emotional time. At that time, it was hard to listen to, but somehow Brain put us at ease and was so knowledgeable. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when my mom entered into eternal rest. We were so glad to have those plans in place, never having to guess what mom would want. Brain arrived at Hospice, (dressed impeccably), at 3 a.m. and was very respectful and compassionate with our mom. The time of her death occurred during a worldwide pandemic and the guidelines and rules for viewings, services, and funerals was changing daily. He spent a lot of time with us via phone, many emails and texts, and a very emotional home visit to finalize the last details for our mom. Brian was so patient, compassionate, professional, and understanding and was an advocate for us. In the end, we were able to have a viewing and mom looked beautiful. As we all know, this isn’t always the case when we pay respects to friends and loved ones. Mom looked like her beautiful self before the illness took over her life. The obvious care and respect that was given to our mom by Brian and his team showed in many ways. Again, so professional and so understanding of the loss we were/are experiencing. On the way to the cemetery for burial, Brian took mom past her house one final time, something we did not expect. The cemetery is not far from our family home, but my dad never sees the funeral processions go by. They go another route. Not this day. It meant so much to all of us that this extra special touch was given to our sweet mom. One last stop at home. It was so emotional and special. Thank you, Brian. Growing up in Avoca, everyone knew the O’Malley funeral home. It was THE funeral home. It still is. Brian Leffler only made it better!

  My family and I experienced the unexpected loss of our son which was a great shock and we're so fortunate to have had the Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral Home work with my family for our son's final arrangements. The entire staff was so very helpful, compassionate, and caring. At our initial meeting with Mr. Brian Leffler, we were provided a wealth of information, advice and sense of positive direction based upon our needs and desires. During this initial meeting we unanimously decided their funeral home is best to handle our only son's final arrangements. The overall cost was also very reasonable. The service at the funeral home was fantastic as we're the accommodations for the family and visitors. The most minuate details prior to and after the service, coupled with several followups were appreciated. My family and I would not have successfully got through the most difficult week of our lives without their support, compassion, and professional attributes.
