- MRMatt RossmanOct 9, 20245.0Absolutely a 5-star rating from my entire family. My Mom suffered a major stroke and was rushed to the hospital with a life ending prognosis. We knew that the next step for my Mom was hospice care. The transition care Manager at the hospital gave me a list of approx. 30 hospice care facilities that we were to choose from with no recommendations. I called Brookdale to inquire about their hospice care and spoke with Deanna, Director of Marketing, and after only 3 minutes during the call, I told Deanna to reserve an apartment for my Mom. Everything Deanna had told me during my initial call with her happened. The hospice nurses were excellent and responsive. We’re grateful for the care Brookdale provided to my Mom during a difficult time for our family. My Mom passed away peacefully and not in pain because of the care she received.
