At The Goddard School located in Westerville (Polaris), we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
Our son just started going here for Kindergarten, but he really loves his teacher and friends. They have a lot of great tools for learning that will help set him up for success for first grade. I wish they there were a bit more spirit days or fun school events, but otherwise it is amazing.

Goddard has been a great addition to my childrens lives. I can see how they've learned so much in such a short amount of time.

I have two children who attend this Goddard School full time. My daughter just turned two and has been there for over a year, and my son has been at Goddard since he was two years old and is now close to wrapping up his Kindergarten year. My husband and I both are very happy with not just the quality of care and the cleanliness of the establishment, but also with the quality of education our children, specifically our Kindergartner, has received and continues to receive. He is five and a half and reads to us each night. He loves to play chess, which Goddard taught him, and he loves to learn which Goddard has fostered. His teacher is attentive, compassionate, and sincere, and my son enjoys going there each day.

My daughter has attended Goddard for the last two years and is currently in their kindergarten program with Miss Meredith! I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about this school and each staff member/teacher. My expectations have been well exceeded, her teacher goes above and beyond with what she does with each student. I would recommend this school to anyone that is looking to give their child the best education they can in preparing them to go into first grade! Thank you to The Goddard School for all they do each day- each of you are much appreciated!

I hate to have to do this. But I would NOT recommend this school. They DO NOT prepare students(Olentangy)...high turn over rates and we hung in there for 3 years and wasted a lot of time and money...plus paid extra money for phonics. They said my daughter was on par the entire time..and in fact was a year behind and now have to be retained.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
