At The Goddard School located in Westerville (County Line), we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
We’ve had both of our daughters attend The Goddard School in some capacity, and our experience has been nothing short of amazing. The teachers are truly caring, patient, and engaged. The communication from staff is excellent, they keep us informed, supported, and involved. The curriculum is thoughtful and well-rounded. We’ve seen so much growth academically, socially, and emotionally in both kids from their time at Goddard. It’s clear the entire team is dedicated to creating a safe, positive, and nurturing environment. We highly recommend Goddard to any parent looking for a place they can trust.

Our boys started Goddard this past March and it has been nothing but amazing for them. Lily, Ashley and Diane in the infant room truly care about each and every child. One of our sons has a disability and the way the teachers go above and beyond to make sure he has what he needs and is still able to participate in all of the activities is something that means the world to us. Miss Ashley and Miss Lily have gone above and beyond to take care of our little guys and the peace of mind we have leaving them in their care is priceless. If you are looking for a daycare where the teachers are truly invested in your children, Goddard is that place.

The staff here is truly one of a kind. When we recently moved, we specifically didn’t move far so our kids could still go to this Goddard. The growth of our kids and relationships they formed with all of the staff has been very special. They’ve given our daughter extra attention when she was a baby with some health related things and have always been there supporting our kids and our family. I can’t thank the staff enough for all they do for our kiddos!!!

We have been at Goddard on county line road for the past 4 years from infant care through preschool and have had such a positive experience. Ms. Ashley has been the primary teacher in the infant room for both of our children and she truly goes above and beyond caring for the babies as if they are her own. She has even called to check in when they have been out sick. Ms. Megan and Ms. Sara are a such wonderful team in the toddler room and it shows in the calmness of the room when I go to pick up. The float staff and teachers in other rooms know my children by name even if they haven’t been in their class. When I’ve had a concern it has been addressed quickly and efficiently. We receive multiple pictures through out the day and I always look forward to seeing them. I highly recommend them.

We have been so grateful for the care and attention the Goddard staff has shown our family the last 2.5 years. With every class, we have been fortunate to form relationships with the teachers that continue even after the child has moved on, making each interaction in the hall, siblings classes, front office, etc. more fun and welcoming.
We have always been able to tell that their diapers, or potty training, is being tended to often, and we're quick to hear of any incidents or noticeable discomfort they're exhibiting. We provide meals but love that the school can warm up items, and also provides nutritious snacks twice a day!
I'm also impressed with how quickly my kids have learned new skills at every milestone. From learning to help, share, problem-solve, color, count, and beyond, they truly provide great guidance as early as the infant class! I'm grateful that our two kids can be together in one place and even get to see one another during the day. I highly recommend!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
