At The Goddard School located in Strongsville, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
We have been part of Goddard of Strongsville for over three years prior to 2025 with our oldest. When it was our youngest turn to start day care, we knew that we did not want to go anywhere else. On top of being extremely nurturing and attentive, each person at Goddard of Strongsville genuinely cares for all the children. The ease of also doing an afterschool program for our oldest has been incredible. Having two busy working parents, Goddard has become a part of our village. Alicia and Becka create a great environment for families. Each teacher is genuinely kind and caring, and the positivity can be felt all around.

We love Goddard. We’re so happy with the staff. Thank you! Edit/Add: The teachers are caring and attentive. They’ve been so flexible with our schedule, which has made balancing everything so much easier for our family. Our daughter absolutely loves going to school. She’s always coming home with new songs, words and little facts that surprise us every week. It’s amazing to see how much she’s learning and how proud she is of herself. We couldn’t be happier!

I feel safe with my son being here. He seems much more calm with not being put in front of the TV all day. I wish they provided meals. That’s the only negative.

My children have flourished since starting at Goddard a few weeks ago! My daughter was barely talking or babling and now she babbles and is saying three word phrases! My son absolutely loves his teachers in the Frog room. He is always so excited to go to school and always tells me the many new things he learns each day!

Enrolling my son at The Goddard School has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made as a parent. From day one, the entire staff has gone above and beyond to create a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Their passion for early childhood development truly shines through in everything they do.
Over the past year, my son has grown in so many ways — academically, socially, and emotionally. He’s become more confident, curious, and excited about learning, and I give full credit to the incredible teachers and staff who pour their hearts into every child. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to keep children engaged while also fostering creativity, independence, and kindness.
The Goddard School feels like a second home to him — so much so that he’s genuinely sad he can’t be there all the time! That speaks volumes about the love and care he receives every day.
If you’re looking for a school where your child will be celebrated, encouraged, and supported every step of the way, I can’t recommend The Goddard School enough. It’s more than just a school — it’s a family.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.

To ensure the health and safety of everyone, if an outbreak occurs and a child has not been vaccinated, they will be asked to stay at home.
