At The Goddard School located in North Ridgeville, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
We have been a part of the Goddard Family for many years. Our oldest went through the program at Goddard and had a great foundation built for kindergarten. Our youngest is currently enrolled, and we cannot thank the teachers and staff for the wonderful work they do. The facility is so clean and welcoming, the teachers care for the children like their own, and I love that our children learn social and emotional skills while doing very many other learning activities. I love Goddard North Ridgeville, and feel blessed to have the opportunity to have our children there.

I can't thank Goddard School enough for taking great care of our daughter and preparing her for Kindergarten. The staff and teachers were always so nice and the daily emailed pictures and updates on what our daughter was doing in class was awesome!

The level of dedication, care, and knowledge of the staff is unmatched. Our daughter's vocabulary has flourished, and she is excited and happy to enter her classroom each day. Paula has done a wonderful job of setting up her team for success by establishing a sound foundation and by encouraging continued learning of staff.

Our son has been at Goddard for a little over a year, and we have loved our time here! The staff is nurturing, communicative, and focused on the children's best interests. We wish we had started our son sooner, as he always comes home saying he had a good day!

I've been searching for a daycare or school option since my wife passed 2 months ago. I toured this location with my son who has never been in a daycare or school setting. I felt very unwelcomed. I was shown the classrooms from the hallway but wasn't told about the curriculum, the daily activities and wasn't introduced to any of the staff, the person who gave me the tour didn't even give me the courtesy of introducing themselves. After the tour concluded I was told "my son could be an issue". Later I received an email basically telling me to look elsewhere and attached was a link for special education. I've had my son checked by his doctor multiple times but they assumed he is and it seems if your child is different they aren't welcome.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
