- FMFran MatthewsOct 7, 20255.0Our families experience with Brookdale has been phenomenal! I am so thankful that I chose them to take care of my husband. They not only took care of my husband; but, myself and my children as well. Angie Rumer also kept in contact with me for a year before I moved my husband to Brookdale. She contacted me monthly to see how my husband was doing and to see if we needed anything. She even offered to bring my husband and I a meal. Penny, who is always on the run, also stopped and took the time whenever I had a question or just needed to talk. To all the aides, you are all angels!! You do so much to react positively with all the residents. Although my husband was only there two months, you have left such a positive impact in our hearts. Thank you so much!

Longevity with staff is to be recognized as we seldom see this in any community. Brookdale is worth the 20 minute drive from Toledo for quality of care and management that goes over the top for their residents and staff.

We have been really impressed with how caring and patient the staff are with residents. Staff members do a great job of making the place feel welcoming and fun -- lots of activities, good food, opportunities to do things outside of Brookdale, and nice facilities. My mom was reluctant to leave her home but has been really happy at Brookdale and we know she has 24 hour care!
