At The Goddard School located in Aurora, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
We truly cannot say enough about The Goddard School of Aurora. Both of our children have thrived here, and we’re already seeing the incredible impact on their early education. Our kindergartener is absolutely excelling in his classroom, and we know it’s because of the strong foundation Goddard has provided - from how the curriculum is structured to how the teachers nurture curiosity, independence and confidence.
I always joke that our kids are “daycare trained,” but it’s true. Thanks to Goddard (we’ve also been to Hudson and Concord Twp branches), they learned how to follow instructions, show patience and build critical skills in reading, numbers and social development long before entering elementary school.
Early childhood education is so much more than childcare - it’s an invaluable investment in our children’s future. We’re endlessly grateful for the Goddard of Aurora teachers and staff who pour their hearts into what they do every day.

We have been so pleased with our experience at Goddard so far. The teachers and directors seem to genuinely care about our children and are clearly very passionate about education. I am so impressed by what our toddlers have already learned! They are also always coming up with creative and engaging activities for the kids and put in a lot of effort to host small events or themed weeks throughout the year that create a strong sense of community within the school. This is the third daycare my children have attended, and I can confidently tell any parent that the value this school delivers has absolutely been worth the cost!

We’ve had a fantastic experience with The Goddard School in Aurora, OH! The management team is incredibly responsive and approachable—they always take the time to answer any questions, big or small, which we really appreciate.
Our toddler is genuinely happy every day, and it's clear the teachers take excellent care of the kids, especially when it comes to diapering and personal care. We’ve noticed how clean, comfortable, and cared-for our child is every time we pick them up.
The hours are very convenient for working parents, and the atmosphere throughout the school is always positive, welcoming, and safe. We feel lucky to be part of such a thoughtful and well-run school. Highly recommend!

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
