They are refusing to pay me the two hundred dollars they owe me ...claiming that they did overnite shipping on my check that would have arrived in the a.m. now is eight o clock at night and no check ...stay far away from this place ...guess who's getting sued......trash trash and trash ...

My dad lived here for 7 months. In that time, he was sent to the Emergency Room because he was "agitated" or any issue where they thought that there might be some exposure on their end. This practice is to transfer both the risk and the cost to Medicare (often thousands of dollars in unnecessary tests) and from their standpoint, to "calm down the patient." Have you ever known anyone--particularly someone with dementia--to be calmed down by a trip to the ER? They are VERY thinly staffed at night. One time, I went to visit and 2 aides bet each other $20 that the other one could find my dad. They found him asleep in another resident's room. The staff didn't bother calling me when they told the ER attending that my dad couldn't return--because he was no longer "ambulatory". It was the middle of the night in a Buffalo snow storm. I would never put a loved one in this place again. It was my first rodeo. I learned more than I ever wanted to know.
