Our SW Rochester center is located on the St. John’s nursing home campus. Child care and elder care are brought together each week so classrooms get to experience intergenerational programming with residents of the nursing home.
Located next to The Highland Botanical Park, children have the opportunity of exploring nature at its best. The Lamberton Conservatory is within easy walking distance of our center- a perk we often take advantage of.
Their communication was extremely poor. Despite clearly informing them that my son needed additional support due to his speech delay—and that he had already been evaluated—they failed to create any kind of support plan. Instead, they treated him as though he were the only three-year-old facing developmental challenges. On top of that, their approach to potty training was inconsistent and unreliable.

My 2 older kids went there about 14 years ago they are now 19 and 23 and they were great, and my older daughter still keep in touch with one of the teachers. Now my 11mth old (going since 4mth) is going there and the teachers are great, and she loves them. I couldn't ask for better place of care for my baby. She eats well and she has the their kids that are around her age and coming up with. All the staff are very friendly and kind whenever we go there

My son has been a student here for a year. The teachers and staff are highly professional and kind to the children. My son had a speech delay, and he has made significant progress in just a few months thanks to Miss Kim's efforts. The school provides a supportive and positive environment. They organize many indoor and outdoor activities beneficial for children's development. Most importantly, their child safety protocols are truly impressive.

My husband and i are first time parents looking for child care. I am hesitant about having someone take care of my newborn who isn't me. But we are just starting to see our options.
The generations child care was our first nursery tour scheduled. We arrived today - and the front desk receptionist was very nice. She offered us a seat while we waited for the director, Tammy, to show.
In the lobby right by the front door is the waiting room. We went to go sit and i realized the garbage can was over flowing with bugs crawling / flying all around. Instantly I was disgusted.
Before our tour - i asked about price and realized they don't offer the part time care we are looking for at this location. I was secretly happy.
Before we left - i told Tammy about how i am a first time mom and i am already nervous about bringing my baby to childcare and the garbage was over flowing and covered in crawling bugs. (As a fruit fly proceeded to fly past her head). I told her it skeeved me out and was a very bad first impression. Then i asked how often are the garbage changed?
All she had to say was "daily" with a fake half smirk on her face. She didn't apologize for the fact that the facility she runs was disgusting. She didn't have any sympathy. She honestly didn't even act like she cared at all.
First impressions are very important. And the cleanliness & Manors of the director - made me never want to let my child step foot in this place.
You want me to pay you $800 a month and you can't even clean out your garbage cans???
I think not! Hope all the rest of the nurseries we look at arn't like this dump.
{I have a photo but it doesn't give me the option to post it. Go to yelp to see it}
