    Maybe this works for some families, but be aware of the fee structure! They showed us a nanny candidate at $35/hour and we then found they were going to be paying that individual $19-22/hour. Jovie takes a 40%+ cut of the all in rate the family pays. This felt deceitful and borderline unethical to us. Bill and Sharon are nice people and do aim to make quality matches between families and caregivers. This service is likely best suited for people looking for one off or last minute sitters, not long-term sustainable nannies.

    They were quick to say they can do a job and agreed to the request, but didn't inform the caregiver... so the caregiver left after one day... we were left hanging. Could have gone with someone else, had plenty of time when we initially contacted them. Our back up care... needed back up, and it was not available. Very disappointing.

    We hired Jovie to provide group and individual childcare for our wedding. Sharon and her team were so easy to work with. They asked all the right questions to help us decide how to divide the evening between group and individual childcare and were clear and communicative throughout the whole process. We found the prices to be very reasonable, and we were very impressed that they took the time to conduct a site visit beforehand. The team did a great job asking us only the questions they really needed to ask us, and otherwise they appropriately directed most questions to the parents needing childcare. We heard great things from the parents attending our wedding, and multiple engaged couples asked us for more details about how we arranged childcare at our wedding because they were impressed by how seamless the process was. Thank you for a great experience!
