- MLMichele LallierOct 6, 20255.0Our family has been so happy with the care our Mother receives at Brookdale Manlius. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They really make it feel like a home for the residents.

I can assure you, they are more concerned about their Stickley furniture investment than they are about the food they serve their residents. Two years of regular, ongoing billing issues and charges for services not received. Intentional? Or incompetence? It’s hard to say. And then one day, the “care manager” decided my mother had “given up” and they were no longer equipped to care for her. We were given 5 days to move out and find another place for her to live. Not easy with virtually no notice. On top of it all, we were forced to pay for the removal of furniture that we didn’t own. And -surprise- mom lived for another 2 years- so I guess she hadn’t “given up” after all. At that time, they must have found an another resident who could pay a higher rent under a new lease. The lack of care and compassion was atrocious. Do not ever consider Brookdale for anyone you love. You have too many other options.
