Carpentieri at the Hawthorne Funeral Home to preplan my father’s funeral arrangements. Ernie was so compassionate and understanding and reassured us that when the time came he would take care of everything for us. Ernie made himself available to meet with us for our first meeting. He spent time with us going over every detail for the wake, obituary, and funeral services. Even after our meeting, Ernie was always available when I called him with my questions. A special shout out to Marlena who was very kind and talented. She was simply amazing, she listened to us when we told her that we wanted our father to look natural. When we saw my father at the wake, he really did look like Leo. The funeral home was recently renovated. The new furniture, carpeting, and decor are very inviting. We were able to use their LED screen to cast a slideshow of photos and Ernie and his staff set up the room so beautifully with all of the photo boards and flowers that were there for the viewing. The staff at the Hawthorne Funeral Home were truly extraordinary, kind, courteous, and very professional. Ernie and his staff made an unbelievably emotional and difficult time more bearable for our family. We would highly recommend the Hawthorne Funeral Home for those needing these types of services.
