I literally passed him through the door to masked staff and left, not knowing when I or my mom or brothers would be able to visit. I cannot speak highly enough of the care the staff has provided my dad in helping him acclimate to a new home and their efforts to connect families with loved ones during this health crisis - sending videos, photos, getting dad to the phone when we call, making us feel like he is the only resident they have to worry about. When Traci told me, "We've got this," she meant it. Someday I'll be able to give my dad a hug again, but until that time, I know he is happy and healthy and that the caring, loving staff is appreciating his charm and humor.
