- HHHqteJun 2, 20251.0It’s unfortunate that the director Chris has come from a ymca setting and has no experience with senior citizens especially those with dementia. Brookdale smells like urine. Extremely understaffed. They pay the for care aides is $16-17 hr. Med tech $18 .McDonald’s pays more !. This is a private pay facility there is no way the pay should be this low. These residents should have top notch care- and excellent food and a spotless facility that smells great! There should also be a housekeeper on weekends. A housekeeper that is capable of cleaning the facility.

The food is amazing, the grounds are beautiful, the staff are engaging and enthusiastic and truly care about the residents. The multiple activities offered keep the residents moving and motivated. I have experienced other senior care And this one is by far a 5 star. Add in strong leadership and amazing staff and this place is just perfect!

My family and I have been very happy with the facility and manager Chris N. It lived up to the reputation that brought us to Brookdale originally, and his care has been great, everyone has really been great, and under some pretty unusual times with Covid, they were always very reasonable.
