At The Goddard School located in North Bellmore, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
The teachers in Goddard are very nice and patient. My kids love their teachers and have made good friends in the class. They do a lot of crafting, drawing, singing, reading and dancing.
The facilities are clean. I love that the space of outdoor playing is well established and safe for little ones to get some fresh air every day.
One significant benefit for me is that infants under 18months can follow their own feeding and napping shcedules whereas other places usually run one regular class schedule for toddlers over 1 year old. The only downside is that meals are not provided, but it's not a big deal for me as my kids are allergic to a lot of things, and I have to prepare food for them anyway.
Overall, it makes me feel comfortable to leave my kids with Goddard when I am working during the day. Highly recommended.

I can’t say enough great things about this school! Both of my children — my infant and my 2-year-old — have shown incredible growth in just a month. Their early childhood education curriculum is wonderful, and I’ve already noticed so many positive changes. Most importantly, my kids are genuinely happy here — they love coming to school and don’t even want to come home!
One of the biggest things that stands out to me is the consistency and passion of the teachers. The same familiar, caring faces greet my children every day, which helps them feel safe, secure, and connected. That consistency is so rare — unlike other places where teachers change frequently, even within the same day. You can truly tell that the staff here care deeply about what they do.
As a parent, it’s never easy to send your children away for the day, but knowing they’re in such good hands and seeing how happy they are gives me the greatest peace of mind. I’m so grateful to have found this school — it’s been such a positive experience for our whole family!

I couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Goddard School. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and well-organized the environment is — it’s clear that safety and hygiene are a top priority.
The teachers are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive. They truly take the time to get to know each child and create a nurturing atmosphere that supports both emotional and academic development. Our child is always excited to go to school, and we’ve seen so much growth in their confidence, communication skills, and curiosity.
The administration is just as impressive — they’re professional, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure families feel supported and informed.
We’re so grateful to be part of the Goddard community. It’s a place where children are genuinely loved, guided, and encouraged to thrive.

When we decided to de-enroll our daughter due to a change in our circumstances, we were treated inhumanely. The director's feigned kindness, lack of transparency, poor communication and follow-up, incorrect information that we were liable to pay for the full year was so emotionally overwhelming. We had to pay for several months of care despite our daughter not spending a single day there. We are so happy we ended up not entrusting our children under their care. Please make sure you read their contract thoroughly, and know they are all about the money as others have written. If you get a tour, pay close attention to their teaching staff. We were not introduced to a single teacher and all avoided eye contact, a red flag I should have seen from the beginning.

I would like to echo another review by another family that this establishment is nothing more than a money grab. Please do your research, there are many horror stories online about this facility, and our experience was similar. They presented well at first, but it quickly became apparent to me that they prioritize profit over care. Where other comparable schools charge $50 for enrollment, Goddard charges $350 non-refundable and then tells you they won’t have space for your child. Other schools provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks – at Goddard, despite the tuition being double, there is no lunch provided. If you need to withdraw your child, most schools have a 30-day opt-out clause or will just work with you like a human – Goddard’s opt-out clause is 60 days, and you need to be careful because they are extremely vague and unclear when it comes to money. The teachers seemed entirely disinterested in the families and children, the outdoor space is tiny, and the overall environment did not feel welcoming.
