We love the school! The staff and teachers are amazing. We love how creative the school is with engaging the kids and the parents. We would choose this school all over again if wr had to.

As an elementary school teacher, this is truly a nurturing, rigorous, and engaging program. Parents are given daily reports which show objectives, photos of exploration, and videos of songs teaching concepts. It is a great way for families to review the day with their children. Teachers such as Ms. Marlisa, Ms. Arnette, and Ms. Chardonnay connect with each child and work collaboratively to meet their needs. I am so impressed! Not to mention, their cleaning procedures are top notch with their sanitizer machine. We also got an amazing deal on tuition for the first three months for signing her up the day of open house.

TLDR: exceeds expectations, great communication, can be pricey but worth it.
My child started in a class with Ms. Marlissa and Ms. Arnette and is now with Ms. Ashley, Ms. Teresa, and Ms. Amina and all 5 of them have been amazing to work with. It is incredible to see the relationships my child has been able to build with all of the teachers, especially so quickly (we are only a part-time schedule). My child is thriving and learning so much. I thoroughly appreciate the level of communication I have with the teachers. It makes it feel like they are an extension of our family as caretakers and I can confidently rely on them. They really bring the "care" to caretaking. Though this center can be a bit on the pricier side as compared to other centers, it is worth it for what we get in return. I'm immensely grateful for Ms. Marlissa, Ms. Arnette, Ms. Teresa, Ms. Ashley and Ms. Amina.

Our 6 month old has been enrolled in Goddard West Orange for about a month now, and I feel so at ease during the day knowing that he is safe. When we first toured the school, the lead teacher in the infant room Jahonna told us that she treats and loves the kids as if they're her own nieces and nephews — and that's exactly the treatment we've seen! All the teachers and admin staff know my son by name, where he is developmentally, the toys he likes, what kind of day he had, etc. The staff is very responsive in the Tadpoles app and sends multiple pictures/videos throughout the day. Nicole puts a lot of effort into building a community and recently organized a mom's night out where all the West Orange and Livingston Moms were invited to make charcuterie boards and mingle. A few times a year, the school will stay open to ~9PM (or so) on a Friday, so parents can have a night out alone without having to coordinate additional childcare. My husband and I are really very pleased with our experience so far.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
