We had trouble finding a reliable nanny, and after letting go of our third one, we decided to try daycare. We started with summer camp, three half-days a week, just to see how our 1.5-year-old son would adapt. I was worried it might be overwhelming for him - being left in a new environment with so many kids - but I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Adrian absolutely loves his daycare and his teachers. Miss Brittney and her team do a phenomenal job caring for each child. They keep the kids engaged and entertained in ways I can’t imagine any nanny matching. The administration is also outstanding - Terri and Sarah are always approachable, supportive, and quick to respond.
We were so happy with the experience that we extended camp to five half-days a week and will be transitioning to full days in September. It’s amazing to watch our son develop so quickly and learn something new every single day since starting here.

My son started Goddard a little over a month ago and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to send him there. Not only have we noticed his growth and learning so much, but he is smiling every day when we pick him up. The teachers are so caring, and do their best to help continue anything we’re working on my son with at home and you can tell it is such a nurturing environment. The office staff is so responsive and friendly, as well.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
