At The Goddard School located in Princeton, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
The front end Staff to every teacher we've interacted with have completely exceeded our expectations. This was our first school and first time leaving our son in the care of someone who isn't family. The staff has become our extended family and my son fell in love with the school and staff. They truly care about their kids, and we look forward to working with this school in the future with our daughter, and son in summer school.
We had so much fun and my son grew and learned so much. This place is worth every penny and an A+ for anyone considering
Huge shout out to Ms Charlotte, Ms Kirti, Ms Lesley Ms Colleen and Ms Trinity who all helped our son grown and to the front end staff Ms Dona, Ms Melissa, and Ms Jenny who always helped us in every way possible

My daughter attended the toddler class in summer 2024 for a couple of weeks until we decided to move her to a different daycare that was a better fit. During drop-off and pick-up, I sometimes noticed the classroom felt quite busy, and she often had a hard time settling in. A few times at pick-up, I found her upset and not getting the comfort she seemed to need.
After just a few days, she started having nightmares and strongly resisted going back, which made us feel this wasn’t the right environment for her. Once we switched to another daycare, she was excited to go each day and seemed much happier, which reassured us that we made the right decision.
Every child is different, so while this program didn’t work out for our family, it may be a better fit for others.

After several years of enrollment at a Goddard school in another city, we moved to Princeton and joined The Goddard School of Princeton. This past year has been the best yet for us. It's been an amazing experience due to the staff, teachers, owner, and community. We have one child graduating to Kindergarten, but our younger child is lucky enough to have two more years with Goddard Princeton. The staff are all friendly, caring, and nurturing, and our kids have clearly had a great year of development. Very happy we are part of this community.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
