First and foremost, Goddard has always felt like family. The teachers here are truly passionate about children and learning. We have been there since my oldest was 4 months in the infant room, through the pre-K class. We are back for summer camp this summer, and it felt like we never left. Seeing the same teachers still there (when a lot of places see a lot of turnover) made the transition back so easy. And seeing past teachers excited to see my kids back is always a nice feeling. We have gotten to see some of the changes the new owners are making and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little jealous of all the new things happening over the school year after we leave. Even during the summer camp session, while the curriculum is a little more relaxed, I still appreciate the amount of educational activities they are focusing on. I can tell all the new updates will be fantastic. The new owners are very transparent; approachable and seem to truly be passionate about their work.

My daughter has been attending this school since January, during this time the school has changed ownership and I saw no interruption in my girls day to day or schedule. The staff remain wonderful, Ms Jenna is an absolute GEM of a teacher, the communication from the staff to the parents is great and the new owners greet you when they see you. Moving my daughter to this school has been one of the best choices I’ve made and she continues to flourish under their care.

This school is a haven from top to bottom--the faculty, teachers and admin alike, are warm, welcoming, passionate individuals who help your family's first experience with school be as positive as can be! The staff has a healthy blend of tenured (10+ years) and new teachers, which brings such an enriched dynamic to the school with seasoned and new best practices in the ECE field reflected in the teachers and their individual teaching styles, also in tandem with the awesome curriculum. Speaking of tenured and new, the school is also under new ownership which has brought new life, energy, and a greatly deserved dedication to the faculty, families, and building as a whole--new learning materials, new furniture, new equipment, the school has transformed. The school had solid roots and now promises a flourishing future. The Goddard School of Moorestown is great--and the best is yet to come!!

I would leave zero stars if I could. We have been a loyal Goddard family for 7 years with no issues. They even quote our family’s positive review on their website. Since new ownership took over there has been nothing but negative change. Owners Jillie and Jon were incapable of accepting feedback on implementation of protocol, and informed us we were ‘no longer a good fit for the school’. Jillie and Jon are extremely unprofessional and hold their own egos as a higher priority than the children. We will forever be grateful for the teachers and staff that cared and taught our children over the past 7 years - they are fantastic, and their support of our children never wavered.
In response to the Goddard review response, it’s unfortunate that you needed to fabricate so many situations in response to my husbands post. Your accusations to our family about sharing information with our son’s friends parents (which we have not) and creating fake accounts is offensive. If anything, everyone should be looking at the timeline for solicited positive reviews to offset our honest negative reviews. We simply would like other families to be aware of the way you run your facility and treat families.
In time, I hope you are able to better handle change management, understand the importance of clarity on your protocol implementation, and learn to be more accepting of the feedback that you ask for.
