The Farnelli Funeral Home of Williamstown, NJ, was founded in 1960 by Steve Sr. and Anita Farnelli at 34 Church Street, just down the road from where it is currently located. The facility, as it exists today, was built ten years later at 504 North Main Street. Although Steve Sr. and Anita are still actively involved , they passed the business to their son Donald Farnelli in 2001. Don is a lifelong resident of Williamstown and a graduate of Williamstown High School and Mercer County Mortuary School. The funeral home handles traditional funerals, cremation services, as well as long distance arrangements. Don is a pre-planning specialist and the Farnelli's offer pre-funding through the New Jersey Pre-paid Funeral Trust Fund and Forethought Life Insurance Company. Serving all faiths, the Farnelli's pride themselves on their ability to personalize a funeral. Families have numerous options ranging from customizable prayer cards, to still-photo memorial videos. They also provide information and assistance for pre-planning, estate settlement, and information to help survivors with their loss.
My mother in law passed in November. Don and the entire team was absolutely top notch. They handled all of the details flawlessly. They were empathetic and accommodating. They're extremely competitive without sacrificing quality. Most importantly, my mother in law looked peaceful and beautiful. The Catrambones and the Fortes highly recommend them.

My family and I cannot say enough to express our appreciation for the way Don and his team Jaime & Kate took care of the funeral for my Father. I never had to do this before, and I didn't know where to begin. They were extremely helpful and compassionate through the entire process. Everything went well. We had many compliments about the funeral. Family and friends were impressed. Do yourself a favor and choose Farnelli Funeral Home. You can rely on them to help you navigate through this difficult time.

Don and his team did both of my parents funerals. My Mom had to be brought home from North Carolina. Her trip was flawless. When my Dad passed, we lived in NJ. Don Farnelli and his team are like family. Very caring and compassionate during these difficult times. I am an only child. When doing my Estate planning, Farnelli's will lay me to rest with my parents. God bless you.
