At The Goddard School located in Forked River, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
I can’t say enough good things about this daycare. My oldest son started here, and now my second is going as well, and the experience has been amazing with both of them. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly pay attention to each child’s personality and needs.
Every morning my kids walk in smiling and excited, and that alone tells me everything I need to know. They communicate well, keep me updated, and I always feel like my boys are in a safe, loving, and structured environment. As a mom, that kind of peace of mind is priceless.
We’ve been with them for years now, and I honestly wouldn’t want my kids anywhere else. Highly recommend!

My son has been attending Goddard since he was 15 months old (he’s now almost 3!) and it’s been so wonderful for him. He loves his class - his teachers and his friends, he learns so much, and we have seen such confidence and growth from him the past 2 years. I feel confident that my son is at the best place for his social/emotional development and early education. I love the photos and updates from the app and I love to hear about all the fun activities from that day - it seems like there’s never a moment at school where he’s not learning or entertained. We’ve loved every single teacher he’s had - also, an important note, it seems there is little to no turnover with staff, which is amazing for a daycare. The organization is great! We live on LBI but drive up to Forked River for Goddard because we love it that much and it’s worth it for the incredible program!

I can't say enough great things about Goddard! Both of my children have THRIVED and learned so much! We moved further south 2+ years ago, and while we toured daycare facilities closer to home - nothing came close to Goddard of Forked River. We STILL drive north for our children to attend. The staff is friendly, my children are happy and we receive multiple updates daily. They prioritize learning, have a strict curriculum and are top notch at communication.

This is my son’s first and final year of attending the Goddard School and I could not praise them more! He absolutely loves school and does not want me to even pick him up. He is always smiling and laughing and running around with his friends when I come to get him! The updates during the day and the pictures of what they do in class and the big smile on his face let me know, I made the right choice in sending him here. He was in a public preschool last year for his first year ever in a school and learned absolutely nothing. The learning in this school compared to a public preschool is like night and day. He has learned so much gained more confidence and social skills as well. The teachers and staff are extremely kind and caring. Miss Judy is such An exceptional teacher. Thank you for what you’ve given my son so far and thank you for making us a part of the Goddard family. We appreciate you and give thanks❤️

In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills.
