Mostly a highly compassionate staff who round regularly on residents. There are quite a few employees who have longevity at the facility, and that continuity of care is important to residents. The activity staff is very engaged with residents, meeting a range of interests.

I will always be grateful to the admissions staff who admitted my father under less than ideal circumstances. They were friendly and communicative. I can not say enough about the facility and care, the place is clean, no odors, staff is always friendly and helpful, even on days when they obviously have their hands full. I visited daily and never saw a patient in need of anything or a situation that was not addressed. Even visiting relatives commented on how well this facility runs. This place deserves 5-stars throughout, especially compared to the other facilities that I visited before placing my father. I thank everybody at Penn Nursing Center to make his final days as good as possible!

I give this place a one star, morning staff is wonderful, the night staff I will not say the same thing for. A nurse technician fussed and yelled at my mom for 30 minutes because she couldn’t get out of bed and make it to the bathroom. Mind you she is in there after leaving the hospital for 8 days for a blood clot and 2 pints of blood had drained in her leg, so she had to go to a nursing and rehabilitation and physical therapy to walk on that leg and has only been there 4 days. O no if something happens again and she needs care it won’t be there. Will be trying to get her transferred today.

My grandmother is staying there to get therapy, the nurses are nothing but a blessing, they are so caring and loving, my grandma doesn't speak any English but they do everything they can to communicate even if that means learning some Spanish. This is a wonderful place, clean and even the food is good. A nurse is always chewing on her and she has improve in the little time she had been here
