At Penn Nursing Center, rehabilitation comes in the form that best suits your needs. Whether it’s for congestive heart failure, COPD, post-surgery care or other health condition, your stay with us will be focused on recovery, comfort and quality of life.
The staff are over worked and do not have the time to care for the patients. I know of several times a patient turned on the light for bathroom assistance and had to wait over an hour. One time I was in the room the tech came in turned the light out and said I am busy. It took over an hour then the NT came in placed her on the commode and went to lunch. She waited 20 minutes after pulling the assistance light to get off the commode. This is totally unacceptable.

I give this place a one star, morning staff is wonderful, the night staff I will not say the same thing for. A nurse technician fussed and yelled at my mom for 30 minutes because she couldn’t get out of bed and make it to the bathroom. Mind you she is in there after leaving the hospital for 8 days for a blood clot and 2 pints of blood had drained in her leg, so she had to go to a nursing and rehabilitation and physical therapy to walk on that leg and has only been there 4 days. O no if something happens again and she needs care it won’t be there. Will be trying to get her transferred today.

I am patient of this nursing center, First they are always short staff.
When ring my help button it takes them 30/45 minutes to see what you,
Most CNA are nice a few act scared when they come in my room,
Few good nurse, but there is always not enough nurse for all the patients
Some days I lay in bed with extreme amounts of pain,
.You never see the Doctor , they yell at me and other patients .
Never send a loved one here.
