- MGMary GarrenOct 7, 20255.0Brookdale is super nice compared to other local facilities. They really make it feel as much like home as possible. They provide activities of different kinds to try to do something everyone likes. The staff are amazing and I admit I thought maybe they were just being nice cause we were new but it's been months and everyone is still just as nice as day one. I am super happy with choosing this place for my dad, and he likes it too.

So when it came to choosing a community for my grandmother myself and the entire family dug through all the places and researched to no end. We decided Brookdale Hickory would be the best place for her and boy where we right! Every time we come to visit (Which is often) it's always clean, all the residents looks and acts excited to be apart of the community here. I do want to give a specific shout out to Lindsey! She is amazing, always communicates with us when we have questions and is very trustworthy. She has truly helped in every way when we ask or even before! I 100% recommend choosing this place for the ones you love 10s all across the board.

Clean facility, lots of activities well planned and good food. Truly a family atmosphere.

They answered all of my questions and gave me a wealth of information that is relevant to my situation. The team at Brookdale Hickory assisted me above and beyond to find the best care for my mother even after it was concluded that another facility would better suit my mother's needs. There is care and compassion involved in the admission process and that creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. As someone not at all familiar with the ends and outs of assisted living I found my experience here to be enlightening and pleasant.
