I’m giving 5 stars specifically to a girl named Sarah, she was the best!! She helped me push to deliver my baby, and did everything to help me and gave me so much confidence! ( my baby was born in December 2023) but I think about this girl a lot and how kind she was to me. It meant so much! ❤️

Last Year November 2024 I had my son here , I have to take the time to write an appreciation post for my nursing and Doctor team I had when I delivered my Baby in November. Moses Cone Hospital women and children’s center had one of the best teams I’ve ever seen. My O.B listened to me when I said I am done at 37 weeks because I felt things happening, she didn’t ignore me, she let me be done when I was ready to be done. Let’s start with the accommodations despite the hospital restrictions, they allowed our so to be there and stay there because it made me more comfortable than having to leave him with anyone for days at a time. My induction went so smoothly that I didn’t even realize they had even broke my water, the IV and all!. I asked for no males in my room because I’m not comfortable with that, and a nurse named Jennifer had made a sign that said “No Boys Allowed” and decorated it, I did have one Doctor his name was Dr. Chubb, he was the sweetest person ever! He listened to me every step of the way. I had no medication so when I said I felt my baby coming he and his team ran in and delivered my baby within minutes. After cleaning up and being moved to the mothers wing , I was asked if I wanted dinner, I was to tired, but a nurse came in with a Ronald McDonald Cart and gave snacks and all types of things for my son. Anything I asked for they gave it to me, they filled my fridge with frozen meals and a lot of juices and snacks so we’d be comfortable. I got extremely nervous about leaving my baby for his circumcision and so they asked me if I’d like to go upstairs with my baby so I’d feel more comfortable about knowing where he is. The team on November 2nd and 3rd was amazing. They didn’t wake me up, they waiting on me and my baby to get up to run test and things. No one was rude,no one had any bad intentions. All shifts were amazing. I have had 6 kids and this was by far the most caring, and professional team ever! They absolutely love their jobs and it shows. This u it has some of the best Physicians and Nurses. But the Triage Nurse Felicia no matter what time of day, no matter when we go, has the worst attitude. It’s not your call to make if someone’s symptoms are serious or not. My wife went in barely breathing , headache and feeling funny. She got her to the triage room and asked her a question and brushed it off saying things like: well nothings wrong now, your oxygen is not low so I don’t know what you’re feeling, etc. it’s dismissive and degrading. Nobody wants to sit in a lobby for 5 hours feeling like my wife did , only to be dismissed or treated like she didn’t matter or was making it up. This isn’t the first time Felicia has done that, she can’t hold a conversation and she treats you like you shouldn’t be there even though it’s why she has a job, her face says it all and at first we thought it was just a bad day, but this is everytime we are sent there, I know it’s her because after she left the lady that did the EKG was the best and nicest person ever . On the flip side last year my wife gave birth to our son and our team Dr.Chubb, the nurses Jennifer, Brittany, Ruth B, and a few more were the best!. They listened, it was like being in a 4 star hotel. My advice is, if you’re going to work around women and children then your attitude should reflect that. I hope this gets better.

Had my baby here . And I'm so glad that I did 🫶🏾❤️ I low-key want to have all my kids here!!!! My experience was a warmful experience. My midwife/ obgyn who delivered my baby stayed with me the entire time. The delivery itself was a quick process. They allowed for water birth, and for your partner to help deliver , they also offered water birth classes, lactation class , referrals for so much needed helpful tools and resources for you and baby. I once went there when I was super dehydrated I was throwing up so much during early pregnancy. Whatever they did worked I never threw up again or had a cramp, the nurse was so warm. After delivery my room was super clean, the food was good healthy vegan options, and always made round checks on me, and upon leaving cleaning staff left me a red rose. This hospital truly opened my eyes that the hospital or doctors or staff doesn't have to be scary. Coming from Raleigh wake med we all were terrified as children. This hospital really gave me hope and opened my eyes that I could see again, walk again , and can give life and it doesn't have to be scary at all. I always say greensboro, nc has some of the most nicest, sweetest, and well rounded educated people you will meet.

The ladies and docs In MAU are wonderful and very nice, it’s a hospital so of course the time getting in and out isn’t super quick but they were wonderful which made the visit a lot easier. I want to give them their props.
