My kids attended Childcare Network for over 6 years, and the entire team was awesome—right up through the Admin staff. They were always understanding, caring, and observant. They could tell when me or my kids were having a rough morning, and I truly appreciated how loving and supportive they were.
I’ll admit, there was a time when I fell behind on tuition. At first, they worked with me, but as I got further behind, I became frustrated and unfortunately took it out on the staff. Even then, they remained professional and kind. The director reminded me, “We love you and your kids, but to keep caring for them, we have bills to pay—teachers, electricity, water, and more. We don’t like chasing parents for money, but the truth is, your babies can’t come for free, because our teachers don’t and won’t work for free.”
Moral of the review is if you tend to stand out with negativity and others dont feed in it the opposing person is upset and make bad reviews.

I am very disappointed with the experience my family has had at Childcare Network #53. The overall atmosphere is unprofessional and shows a serious lack of accountability from management.
Director Shikerra Hedgepeth and Assistant Director Andrea Williams have repeatedly failed to communicate important information to parents and to address concerns when they’re raised. Most upsetting, my children were suddenly disenrolled without any prior notice I only found out when I arrived to pick them up. Families deserve at least the courtesy of advance communication, yet that basic respect was missing.
I also raised concerns about the kitchen staff and the inconsistency of meals my children often reported not receiving breakfast before leaving the center but these issues were brushed off instead of addressed.
Parents trust a childcare center with their most precious responsibility, and that trust requires transparency, respect, and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience here has been the opposite. I hope this review encourages leadership to make real changes so that other parents do not face the same frustration.
UODATE: I contacted FAMILY SERVICES & they do not follow up on emails or phone calls

Our 7-month-old son has been at Childcare Network on South Boulevard for a few months now, and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are so caring and loving, and it’s clear they truly enjoy what they do. We feel really lucky to have found such a warm and safe place for him.

Childcare Network #53 has been nothing but great to my family. My son attended Meck PreK with Ms. Blount and Ms. Alexis who are amazing educators and worked tirelessly to create a safe and loving learning environment for my child who has special needs. Ms. Valentine also works closely with my son and he loves her very much. He comes home telling us how much he loves when he gets to go to her class. I can’t thank them enough for their love and support. My daughter is currently in the 1 year old class with Ms. April, Ms. Nadia and Ms. Donna. These 3 ladies are the best! They greet us every morning with open arms. We get daily updates on meals, diaper changes, and nap times from their app. As well as pictures and videos of learning activities that are age appropriate for the kids. I love that they actually interact with the children and also encourage independent play. My daughter is learning so many things in their classroom. She’s singing her ABC’s and pointing out her body parts. I also want to thank Ms. Shikerra (Director) and Ms. Andrea (Assistant Director) for their kindness and support. I know my children are in a great hands when I drop them off everyday 🫶🏾
