- HHHalwa HalwaSep 22, 20252.0Well so far I can't even get ahold of the intake dept. I've been calling for the past month leaving messages and haven't gotten any calls back. I also have tried to get ahold of the front desk and know one ever picks up. I finally after weeks of calling got ahold of the front desk this morning, and the person was rude to me after I expressed my concern about not being able to get ahold of the intake dept. When I showed up in person they said that their community had a covid outbreak but they didn't supply any masks before entering their facility. Even though I've heard positive things about this community, based upon my experience with them, I don't think I would even give them a chance.

However I can't get over the fact that there are some very Rude people who work there. For example: I could hear a lady who brings food and helps with baths there yelling at a resident who can't really walk. She would also either ignore my grandfather or be just be rude telling him if he's hungry go get it himself, that he's capable as if she knows his abilities. My grandfather battles with dementia and a disease that is physically debilitating. He struggles with walking. I can't shake the feeling, knowing that their are people without empathy that we trust to care for our families that are that rude to residents. It doesn't help residents and it is infuriating. I'm discusted.
