Our proprietary curriculum engages infants and toddlers through relational care and prepares our little preschoolers for elementary school success. - BBBrittany Purcell (Bumblebee)May 29, 20252.0It took me a while to commit to reviewing Children's Lighthouse because I didn't want to review directly after leaving and wanted to reflect. If you asked me when we started going here if I recommended it I would have said yes. However after a director change and constant teacher changes that is no longer the case. Teachers in the classrooms wouldn't last long enough for me to learn their names. My child on multiple occasions came home in wet (pee) pants. I first hand witnessed a teacher yell from across the room (while just sitting in a chair doing nothing) at a child for peeing her pants, then didn't immediately go to clean up the pee from the carpet. The energy level was always chaotic (which wasn't something I noticed until moving to a different school and seeing how much better things can be handled) We chose the school for it's education focus and again since switching schools I laugh at what this school considers educating. Maybe with consistently good teachers and administration this place can turn it around, but in its current state I no longer felt confident and safe sending my child here. As a lasting note I will mention take many of these reviews with a grain of salt. While we were still enrolled in the school they offered a discount on tuition for a month if you posted a review (and who is going to post honestly when it's tied to their account and their child).
- RKRam KNov 3, 20235.0We've had the pleasure of sending our 3-year-old to this daycare since May, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The staff here is attentive especially in the 3s classroom where our child is currently at. They are warm, caring, and truly invested in the well-being of each child. Our child quickly formed bonds with the teachers, though he can be very shy & slow to move with people. The communication between the staff and parents has been great. They keep us informed about our child's activities, progress, and any concerns promptly and effectively on a daily basis. The facility itself is well-maintained and designed with young children in mind. It's safe, clean, and filled with a variety of age-appropriate toys and activities that keep the kids engaged and learning. We recommend it to any parents looking for a safe & nurturing place for their little ones. It's been a wonderful experience so far, and we're so grateful for the care and support our child receives here.
