  My mom moved into SummerWood a few years ago. The location and feel was the perfect fit for her. But more importantly was the fantastic staff that works there. Molly at the front desk is the go-to person for anything you may need. She always greets you with a smile and we loved to stop and chat when passing by. Chad in maintenance is incredible. He is so kind and patient and is a master at explaining tv operations to seniors. And he's willing to help with even the smallest request. My mom had some health challenges that eventually required her to move out. I don't have enough great things to say about AJ in resident services who helped us through this transition. AJ was extremely understanding and sympathetic and worked really hard at helping us find resources for my mom while continuing to show grace and kindness and patience while we worked through it. Another great advocate during this was Barry. He took the time to help us work through some challenges and provided resources and support. There were others as well, but the biggest takeaway that I have from SummerWood was that everyone we encountered truly cared about and respected the residents. They made you feel welcomed and comfortable and what more could you want from the place you call home for your loved ones. Thank you SummerWood!

  My parents recently lived there in independent living . We knew they were not going to be living there forever. They were there for a year. Staff were very helpful and kind. It’s a older building but very clean. They were accommodating to our family needs. The best part is screened in balcony porches and underground heated garage parking available, lots of shopping necessities within a block. The negatives? The internet is turtle speed. I recommend this for your loved one.

  Jennifer Teigen, Summerwood of Plymouth Housing Counselor, is just awesome! She answered all our questions during our initial visit and waiting list phase, as well as kept us informed throughout the process. My parent’s ultimately moved into an independent living apartment and are enjoying their new home. The staff and residents are all very friendly, warm and caring. The administration is always responsive to any concerns we have. Summerwood of Plymouth is currently following all COVID protocols as required by the state. We look forward to the day when the facility can resume offering all their wonderful amenities.

  My mother lived here in Assisted Living. The staff was excellent and caring. The facilities allowed our children to spend great time with their grandma. My brother, sister and I were very pleased with the care my mother received in a truly loving Christ like atmosphere.
