At The Goddard School located in Medina, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
My children have been attending this center for several years now—my son for about 2.5 years and my daughter for just over a year—and I couldn’t be happier with the care they’ve received. The teachers truly get to know each child, their personalities, and what helps them learn and feel comfortable.
The communication has always been great, the classrooms are clean and organized, and the daily updates give me real peace of mind. My kids come home happy, excited about what they did that day, and proud to show off what they’ve learned.
What really stands out is the level of genuine care. I’ve always felt like my kids were safe, supported, and treated with patience and kindness. It’s not easy to trust people with your children, but this center made it easy for me. I’m very grateful for the impact they’ve had on my kids' early development.
Highly recommend to any parent looking for a safe, positive, and nurturing daycare environment.

Our family is so happy with the care our children receive at Goddard. We're consistently impressed by the hard work and dedication of the teachers and directors, who help our kids thrive every day.
We also really appreciate the school's culture. It’s important to us that the staff feel valued and supported, and it appears directors do a great job of this.
We so grateful for this community!

I can’t say enough great things about the team at The Goddard School Medina. I have sent my now three year old there since infancy and our 6 month old just started. The front office staff care about my kids as if they are their own and have been incredible when we’ve needed additional support pertaining to accommodating my kids’ developmental and health-related needs. The teachers are wonderful and the support staff are consistent and familiar faces who also get to know the kids so well. Can’t recommend enough!

After a failed nanny situation, we thankfully got a last minute spot in the infant room at The Goddard School and we couldn’t be more grateful. Starting our daughter in daycare at such a young age was one of the hardest things for us. But from day one, the staff at Goddard made that transition so much easier. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for the children have given us constant peace of mind.
Special shout-out to Babette and Kasey in the infant room—they are absolute gems. The love, care, and attention they give our daughter every single day means the world to us, and there's nothing better than our daughter smiling and excited when we hand her off in the morning. It's clear she feels safe, happy, and nurtured there. A few months ago, we were offered a spot in a nanny share, but without hesitation, we chose to keep her at Goddard. We would 100% recommend them to any family considering daycare in the area.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
